bigmanni
Check tools and vehicles out, return them and hand them over, all by QR code.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
bigmanni is a tool for trade and service companies that want to keep track of their tools, machines, vehicles and keys. Instead of paper lists or shouting across the yard, one scan is enough: scan the item, take it, put it back later. Every movement is traceable, and everyone on the team can see where an item currently is.
What it does
- Check out and return. Scan the QR code on the item, take a condition photo, done. On return the storage location is chosen, a shelf or a vehicle, so the next colleague does not have to search.
- Hand over to a colleague. When an item goes straight from one person to the next, the handover is recorded in the app instead of forcing a detour through the store room.
- Report defects on the spot. With a photo and a short description, right there on site. The report reaches the office immediately instead of being forgotten at the end of the day.
- Track working time. One button for start and stop. Management sees the recorded hours in the staff record and can correct them; a correction stays visible as such.
- An overview for management. Maintain inventory and products, manage staff and branches, generate and print QR codes for new items, and see at a glance which item is with whom, what is overdue and what has been reported as broken.
- Works offline. In a basement, a hall or on a building site the app queues scans and submits them once there is a connection again, in the original order. Nothing is lost and nothing is booked twice.
- Four languages. German, English, French and Wolof. The app follows the phone's language setting and it can be changed in the profile.
Which companies it is for
For companies whose people are out and about with expensive equipment and where nobody can say for certain where anything is: electrical, plumbing and heating, construction and interior finishing, landscaping, building cleaning, facility management, assembly and field service. Company size matters less than the question of whether equipment moves between the store room, vehicles and building sites.
Multiple branches are supported. Inventory, staff and records are separate per company; a company sees only its own data.
How a company gets started
bigmanni is provided as a subscription per company. Once it is set up, the management of that company adds its own staff members and invites them. Only then can someone set a password in the app and sign in.
This is why the app deliberately has no open registration: whoever has not been entered by the management of their company does not get in. That is the same order as with any other business software, and it makes sure that nobody from outside can see a company's inventory.
Any company can become a customer. There is no invitation, no pre-approval and no affiliation with us or with anyone else required. Simply get in touch.
The app runs on iPhone and on Android phones. QR codes for existing stock are generated and printed by management directly from the app; no special hardware is needed.
What it costs
bigmanni costs 49 euros per month per company, including five staff accounts. Each additional account costs 6 euros per month. All prices plus VAT. Billed monthly, cancellable at the end of any month.
Staff members pay nothing. The subscription is taken out by the company; there are no purchases and no payment function inside the app itself.
